My Story

The foundation of Amit's musical career was poured during spontaneous jam sessions with friends in high school, an early exploration of rhythm and harmony that sparked a lifelong passion for composition. This collaborative spirit traveled with him across continents as he relocated to Canada, where he honed his performance skills playing in an active local jam band.

The pivotal shift from performer to composer occurred behind the scenes of the acclaimed feature film Longing, directed by Savi Gabizon. Serving as the director’s assistant on set, Amit gained invaluable insight into the intricate relationship between narrative and sound. It was this experience, working closely with the film’s celebrated composer, Owen Pallett, that solidified his resolve to pursue a career in creating music for visual media. The inspiration drawn from witnessing a master at work translated into a focused dedication to his craft.

Returning to the studio, Amit formalized his education and sharpened his technical skills under the mentorship of industry veterans Amit Weiner and Oded Fried Gaon. Their guidance provided him with a profound understanding of both the art of composition and the professional landscape of the music industry.

Today, Amit leverages this diverse background—from the raw energy of a high school band to the precise discipline of a film set—to create the high-impact, emotionally resonant production music featured in his catalog.
